In January 2019, my mom came across Jungle near the entrance of a pet store, on the verge of being abandoned. He appeared so helpless and fragile that my mom couldn't bear to leave him behind, so she decided to bring him home with her. The first time I laid my eyes on him, he was tiny and curled up in a blanket. My mom made the decision for me to become his owner, but I knew I had to carefully consider the responsibility it entailed. Throughout the night, I pondered over whether I could truly commit to never abandoning or giving up on Jungle, no matter what challenges we encountered along the way. As the dawn broke, I found myself seeking answers in his innocent and trusting gaze. Those big, innocent eyes seemed to assure me that I was capable of providing him with a loving and everlasting home. With that realization, I made the heartfelt decision to embrace this adorable and furry creature as my new companion.

Jungle turned out to be an exceptionally sensitive little dog, and since it was my first time independently raising a dog, I lacked experience and missed out on crucial socialization training during his puppyhood. Before reaching one and a half years old, he was afraid of almost everything - the wind blowing, leaves falling, moving objects, dropping utensils, even a plastic bag or a tree branch.

Then we discovered "Science-Based Training" and started attending classes together, constantly learning new concepts and meeting like-minded and interesting friends. Eventually, we began going on mountain hikes, traveling, and exploring the world with our newfound companions. Finally, when Jungle turned three years old, he found his confidence and bravery. Through interactions with friends during playtime, Jungle gradually understood the differences between individuals and learned to be tolerant and accepting. While traveling, he also learned how to face the unknown with composure and tranquility.

As time went on, I witnessed Jungle's remarkable transformation. Through proper care, training, and socialization, he blossomed into a confident and well-adjusted dog. It was a testament to the power of love and dedication in shaping a life. I realized that many unnecessary worries I had actually hindered his happiness as an independent being. He wasn't afraid of what I feared, and dogs should not be confined by preconceived notions. I learned not to set limits on life or define each living being, a lesson I discovered through Jungle.

Jungle is palying with him friend

Jungle's presence taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and commitment. His dependence on me became a source of inspiration, reminding me of the importance of loyalty and perseverance. Together, we faced various challenges, both big and small, and overcame them through patience, understanding, and unwavering support for one another. Jungle's journey also introduced me to a whole new world. We explored new places, met fellow dog owners, and formed lasting connections. Through our adventures, I discovered the beauty of nature and the joy of experiencing it alongside a faithful companion. Together, we hiked through picturesque landscapes, frolicked on sandy beaches, and marveled at breathtaking sunsets.

Jungle's presence in my life has been nothing short of transformative. He has taught me valuable life lessons about compassion, resilience, and the importance of cherishing every moment. As we continue to navigate life's uncertainties together, I am grateful for the opportunity to witness his growth and be a part of his remarkable journey. In the end, it was Jungle who rescued me, filling my life with immeasurable love and happiness. He may have started as a helpless and abandoned soul, but he has become a cherished member of our family, forever etched in our hearts. Even a small dog can stride confidently, exploring the world, running with enthusiasm, and playing freely in forests and fields. They can freely choose between a Frisbee or a water bottle, roll on sandy beaches, or step in muddy water. They can be anything they want to be, living in the present and enjoying every moment. May our life always be filled with anticipation and the courage and luck to see more of the world, embracing every shimmering friend we encounter.
